One event supported by the RMI is the World Energy Innovation Forum, which occurs on May 4 and 5, 2016, at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. Leading entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and others involved in the energy ecosystem gather for two days to partake in networking opportunities and listening to keynote speakers. Heading the event is Tesla’s chief executive officer Elon Musk, while other speakers include Steven Chu, the U.S. secretary of energy; George Schultz, former U.S. secretary of state; Ray Mabus, secretary of the U.S. Navy; and Dr. Arun Majumdar, Jay Precourt professor at Stanford University.
